Yes, money can and does by a human. Slavery has existed for many thousands of years. It still exists, to different degrees, in many places.

When I was picked up by the social worker at the hospital...I was then taken to my adoptive parents home. In 1965 I cost 6,000. Plus the medical bills for my biological mother.

So Yes, I believe there was a bill of sale...Plus my birth certificate was made out with my adoptive parents names...I don't know how much that cost...oh well
