surgons and professionals only,
Some years ago my sugon did a partial bi pass, then the next year he went in again and took the line al the way.
Question. With both sugeris there are certain foods, spices, and medications to avoid..
The sugon then gave me a list of no, no, foods. This was, 14 years ago.
Where can I take a refresher class on the bi pass/ stomach staple surgery on line ? foods we can eat like that..
Thanks..

I am a physician. I strongly suggest you try working with your own physician as it is inappropriate for me to suggest otherwise. However, diet modification depends on tolerance, that is to say whether your digestive tract can accept it. A by-pass and stapling suggests a weight problem corrective measure or perhaps as a means to remove an ulcerated or cancerous lesion. In any event, work with your physician, and he can suggest additional measures you might follow. I would recommend tiny amounts of restricted foods to observe if there is associated pain, gas, discomfort, bleeding or any other symptoms. Physicians can only judge by previous experience, but each human is different, and therefore each can react differently to things.

Phone the office of a physician in your area who does that kind of surgery. Ask to make an appointment with his nutritionist. Be prepared to pay, as I doubt insurance will want to.
