I found this mushroom growing in my garden. A bunch of them grew over night. I tried cutting them down but they grew back overnight. It is about 10cm big and has a cap like the shape of a rounded off upside down cone. It is a browny/beigey colour and when cut open it is white and doesnt produce any liquid. The stem is very small and doesnt have a lot of roots.

Could be an inky cap (the gills don't liquefy until they mature), or possibly an amanita. Did the cap have shaggy scales, or warts? If shaggy, likely and inky cap; if warts, an amanita (toadstool). Check the link.
