Does anyone know how to help a bird that has crop rot? It is a quaker parrot 2 months old ?????

The parrot is 2 months old and has been hand fed. Does anyone know how to help save his life? Any ideas? any thing we can do at home , cant afford to take him to the vet, now.

If you do not know what to do then take it back to whoever handreared it and ask them. If it is you that is hand rearing then the problem is down to hygene with the food. Probably it is a yeast infection and the crop will need flushing. This has to be done with Sterile water and a syringe but please do not attempt this if you have not done it before as you may drown the parrot.
Please find a good avian vet and make it a priority to take out pet insurance.
