Both. One without the other is just not as much fun or satisfying to either partner. First foreplay, they Sex. They go together. Some variables come in with how long the foreplay can last. But without it at all, no foreplay, it can be just boring. But together - Wow, the sex can/will be even more amazing.

Obviously you have not done either.......foreplay should last at least an hour, or does when I am involved, and sex lasts 3 minutes.....which would you prefer? I like the foreplay

Do I really have to choose? I mean both are wonderful, but sometimes I must admit there is no time for foreplay and you must get down to the task at hand. I.e. when you have to go to work but need a quick fix.

It's called a pattern, first you have lots and lots of foreply, then you have some very intense sex, followed by more foreplay and then more sex..
