The real translation of “Kännu Kukk” is “The Stump Rooster” There’s a possibility that it will be pulled from the shelves since it can’t meet the EU (European Union) regulations due to the fact that the 45% alcohol fluctuates about +,- 3% depending on how the bottle has been kept. “Kännu Kukk” is a crystal-liqueur that’s very sweet and has a nice caraway taste and aroma. You can also see the sugar crystals inside the bottles that make it quite unique.

"Kännu Kukk" ("Drunken Rooster", or more literally "Drunken ****") liqueur is made by Liviko. "Kännu Kukk is a strong ruby-red colour liqueur with caraway flavor and aroma, which is bottled by a heated way." The maker doesn't specify what the base of the alcohol is, but one can presume that it is either a neutral grain, or potato. It's quite sweet -- about half of it is sugar, and if you keep the bottle long enough it will start to crystallize.
