Ireland has always been known as the land of saints and scholars. Ireland also brought Christianity to the UK. For such a small Island some 200 miles long we have made more impact around the world than any other country our size . so ignore the small minded people and be proud of you heritage

When in Vietnam where I used to growth up there a lots of Russian tourists. I didn't hate them. I do not like what they did to my country but I do not hate them as persons. Why the heck should I hate you as Irish? Would that bring me any money for my car?

Please don't judge everyone. My husband and I enjoy learning about the history and the culture of the ancient Celts. Although my field is the Brythonic Celts, his field of study is Ireland. From the mythology to recent archaeology to culture and music---he's interested. He is even trying to learn Irish even though it is very difficult for him. Neither of us have ancestors from Ireland. We just see the beauty that is in the land and the culture of it's peoples. We don't hate the Irish. Please don't judge us so harshly.

I am English and have visited Ireland on several occasions. Found the country to be beautiful and its people to be warm and friendly. I have no reason to hate you and I don't. Please don't tell me what I do and don't like. People are not all the same - regardless of their nationality.
