Why do people want and have faith instead of saying prove it all the time?

Ie looking for reason, rationaity and acknowledging random events?

Like why are kids not brought up never to trust authourity and always to deman evidence and proof and reasons behind everything unless in an emergency where they have been told to trust the smartest best person for the job having done all the demanding proof...


or logical patterns...

ie like a gap in a periodic table... missing links are likely but probably been eaten.

That realistic. Much like the probability that if you leave a bunch of 14-18 year olds for a week there is likley to be a party.

Insure people looking for proof dont down poison as the cult leader said so, dont believe there are 72 virgins waiting for them, and have enough sense to work out gays are the good guys as are witches.

Likwise those insure people looking for proof get the TRUTH

Can directly compare say a relgious magdelen laundry that abuses girls and beats them up.

There should be proof, how else can judgment be brought against someone?

Ask all of those who CLAIM to have faith?? WHERE is the PROOF. They dint have any and have risked everything on a belief that they really dint know if it is the truth or not.

Is there a GOD? Now, you have to set out on a quest. This quest will not be easy, you will not make many friends amongst people who are BLIND followers of their specific religions.

Suppose there is a GOD. And that GOD created everything i.e. The Creator. This GOD would also have to KNOW everything before all things were created by the Creator.

Why would that have to be true is my question for YOU?

Also, do not confuse deterministic chaos with universal chaos. Whether or not we as humans can calculate the weather and whether or not crumpled leaves thrown into the wind will return as they started are indeed different.

Remind me to tell you the crumpled leaf story... Chaos or Not? That is the real question.

There are some things that are beyond proof by scientific method. The existence of God is one of those things. But i tdes NOT mean it does not exists. Sience likes to think it knows so much but it really knows very little. For example science does not really know whether dinosaurs wer warm or cold blodded.

It is easy to believe in something or someone if there is proof if its existence. I know tree exist because I can feel, see, smell and if one wanted to even taste it. It is tangible so its real. The problem to most people God is not tangible. So since our senses don't pick up on God he's not real to many people.

God wants us to believe because of faith not because we can see him.
It is because of our sin that our relationship with God was suffered. In the O.T. many people saw and felt God. He walked with Adam. Spoke to Moses. Spoke in dreams to many people.
Hebrews 11:6 says
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
