And as the majority of Americans are Caucasian and as I look around so are the Irish I had this thought...If I tattooed the word racist backwards on your forehead so as it was the first word you saw for the rest of your life...You would still never understand its meaning!
If you continue to post such dribble in the future at least have the common decency to tell the world that you are English! Insult a mongrel nation with your tripe (there is a clue to your misunderstanding of your future/new tattoo).

Well, first of all, nobody would think you're looking for asylum ... you want a green card, right? And whoever said 1500 euros equals 90 dollars ... nahhhhh .... it's more like $1900, which is a good wage by anybody's standard .... if you really are earning that amount of money, you must be having a good job to begin with, and sacrificing that really must suck ... however, maybe you could ask for a year's leave of absence from your Irish job, go to the U.S., have your fiance petition you for a green card, and see how it works out with grandad? I can well understand you want to stay on in Ireland, and don't burn your bridges there ... come over here temporarily and see how it works out ... all yanks aren't bad, but nearly all are het up about the illegal immigration situation ... you wouldn't be illegal though, so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you ... and for your info, most people are NOT Bush lovers ... God forbid ....

Racism has been around for a long, long, time. In fact there is racism in Ireland, and a lot. just like in America. But what you are going to do? Unless, you are denied a job, or a rental place, There isn't much you can do! Restaurants and other places, reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for misbehabing, being drunk. Am I wrong or is it in Ireland, where people kill because you might be of different religion?

IRISH bashing goes back to the early eighteen hundreds when fear & ignorance of Catholicism resulted in riots in cities such as New York and Boston. You're current troubles are probably due to a backlash over the immigration issue, all of which is, as you know is B/S - - - a lot of people feel the need to be bullies and if they feel they can pull one over on you they will - - - good luck asserting your right to be anywhere on the Planet that you wish. America is full of racist people, it is also full of non racist people. it is also full of people who are not racist but have been worn down by the radicals in all races. for example, if a black man is constantly exposed to white men who are racist and prejudice against him, and rarely sees a white man without such prejudices he will inadvertently form subconscious prejudice thoughts of his own. the same goes for any race, and all races have radicals. sometime it is hard to always have an open mind when the door is closed at every turn
