d-man ~
In my opinion no, although you have the basics of a gym there's something about going into a real Gym that you just can't get from your basement or garage, the whole gym atmosphere is completely rejuvenating experience, the sound of the Speed Bags being hit, The heavy bags, the guys sparring, the timer bell sounding off but most importantly d-man, the instruction even though you know someone you can spar with it's the little things that you maybe doing now that can lead into bad habits, dropping your right hand as you throw your jab or reverse if you a Southpaw, not pivoting on your back foot when you throw your hooks, stepping straight back with your head up in the air, there's so many little things that you might not even realize that you are doing that can lead into serious problems down the road. By no means am I questioning your desire or commitment or your talent, I'm just saying it's always good to have someone with knowledge of the sport helping you out. You can play football, basketball and tennis but you CAN NOT play boxing. Having a home gym is great when you start to learn the fundamentals of boxing you can go home and practice your technique and style. Good luck in your future as a boxer.

It's great for conditioning and I have my own setup in the garage. But I agree with Santana D on the points he brought up. One thing is you should never spar unsupervised. Save the sparring for a reputable boxing gym.
