Isreal did not get back the two prisoners yet and could not stop the firing of rockets by Hesbollah unless it went in, this way though get more kicked in the butt than ever before! they had to surrender seeing that all the overwhelming fire power they have did nothing but increase the rocket attacks! In my opinion Hesbollah should get even more powerful than they are, there is got to be someone capable of giving a lesson to a terrorist state baby killer such as Isarael!
I respect Israel's right to exist but Israel should not kill babies who too have the right to exist!

Israel got their A** kicked? Where have you been? Have you seen Lebanon? Hezbollah will screw up as terrorists always do. Speaking of the two prisoners - Israel will get them back because Nasrallah has no choice - it was dictated in the cease-fire agreement. If they (Hezbollah) don't turn the prisoners back, I hope they go in and destroy the rest of Lebanon, finish off Hezbollah and then show Syria a little of what the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have in their arsenal. Trust me, Hezbollah will screw up. As a matter of fact, Nasrallah said he didn't think that kidnapping to soldiers would lead to war and if he knew that he wouldn't have done the operation. These guys are sub-human and need to be treated just like the animals they are.

The victory cries of the Hezbo supporters would almost be comical if they weren't so pathetically stupid. What you fail to realize is that this "cease fire" allows time for Hezbollah to rearm....but it also allows time for the "innocent" Lebanese to rethink their position. The fact that Hezbollah was not totally annihilated is not due to their strength but due to their cowardice and Israels concern about collateral damage and loss of innocent life. The government and people of Lebanon need to reflect seriously on their situation. No ones patience including Israels lasts forever. There will be a point where Israel will say collateral damage be damned, and Lebanon will be no more. It's the responsibility of the Lebanese to gain control over this position Hezbollah has put them in.

The perpetrators of that war knew what they were going in for, what they didn't know was by how much. I wonder how you want to disarm a set of people that doesn't have a well defined army. They operate like guerrilas. Almost every indvidual in that country has a gone and is ready to use it if the situation warrants that.

It is very important that the issue should be addressed politically and not this clandestine backdoor attack the Americans are trying to launch on all Arab and Muslim dominant states.

The true motive for Israel's invasion of Lebanon was to downgrade Hezbollah. Hezbollah lost like half of its total missile stockpiles, and almost all of its medium and long-range missiles. It also lost 600+ fighters, a sizable chunk of its total force. Its also been pushed back behind the Litani river so many Israeli targets are out of missile range.
Iran has been using Hezbollah's missiles as a deterrant against US/Israeli action against its nuclear program. Hezbollah is now an ineffectual deterrant. So Israel won, won, won.
Oh, and read up on the recent action taken against the Mahdi Army in Iraq, another Iran proxy it was using as a deterrant. Its part of making Iran more vulnerable.

Interesting , you can pull your head out of your butt now, they got the buffer zone and freed lebanon to bring in there own force into the south side of lebanon for the first time in a long time, the international force they wanted is coming as well, Iran had to increase there plans for nuclear readiness because of the war , so the international community cant ignore it anymore, syria is starting to get antsy now because of the international force, (they'd didnt realize they would be cut off from supplying , hezbolla and their Iranian bend over partners....

You cannot disarm Hezbollah, until it gets support from Syria and Iran. And they fight from behind the children and women, keeping them as shield. That is the reason for the death of so many children. And it is a fact that all is fair in love and WAR.

Yes, Israel has to bow to the demands of UN and had to retract. In a way, it is a loss of face for it, since, as you said it was not successful in getting its 2 soldiers back.

Hezbollah put up a good fight......they fought for the freedoms of their fellow lebanese......and such determination cannot be stopped people call hezbollah terrorists some of the things Hezbollah does might be wrong but it doesn't top Israel.....Israel has a right to exist and a right to self-defense but they were not defending themselves in Lebanon they were invading offensively Hezbollah was on the defense since the beginning Hezbollah will leave Israel alone when Israel returns all the Lebanese prisoners back and keeps out of Lebanon for good...not such a bad demand

Who is going to disarm them. Even though the UN has demanded and they agreed to disarm, the UN refuses to disarm them. The Lebanese government refuses to disarm them. That leaves Israel and the world does not want Israel to disarm Hezbollah.

If you respect Israel's right to exist, then tell your cherished Hezbollah buddies to stop hiding among women and children.

Th best thing about this war is the demystification of Israel's invincibility. Hopefully the Israel goverment will now opt for a more peaceful method to sort out their problems. Force leads nowhere. Even if you win, you will have to subdue and crash the people you have defeated and that calls for a round the clock mobilization and state of alert.
