With a CDL you will lose your license for a DUI. Your best hope for keeping any license (your CDL is history) is to turn in your CDL and get a regular license before you go to court. You should have hired a lawyer by now. You need one!!

A good lawyer and an appeal to the motor vehicle division should allow you to keep at least your commercial license. I've known plenty who have kept there regular license this way. There usually is an appeal process, but you'll pay for it and the lawyer.

The laws vary by each state and you don't state your state. If you are convicted I doubt anyone will hire you again as a commerical driver. Some of the advice below is good...but you REALLY need to speak to a GOOD attorney in your area.
A DUI conviction is almost as bad as being an arrested felon.....ITS MEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

more than likely you will lose your job unless you are a real asset to the company. DUI laws are different in all states. personally i have lost my cdl for my first here in the 386 and will not be eligable to retain a cdl without the state governers pardon.

Sometimes it is the motor vehicle registry that takes it even if the court decides not to.
