Well, the three breed of dogs you've chosen has long coats. So they will have hair and you will have to groom or have it groomed for you. I think they all make great dogs. From my sister's experience and from me babysitting her pomeranian, pom's are very hyper dogs. You will need to walk them almost everyday.. they are very playful medium sized dogs. But most dogs require a lot of attention and dedication. Your new dog will rely on you most. I'm not sure how much shih tzu breeds run but i can tell you what you will expect from breeders near you. They will charge you by size and color. White color pomeranians are the most expensive and rare to some ppl. Also, they will boost up the price of anything with the name "toy" or "teacup" size. Toy or teacup just means the dog is bred out to be much much smaller, needs almost double the maintainence a standard breed needs. Also because they're size are so rare, the price are sky high. Also, try to buy from locals near you... my sister has been scammed online before trying to buy a pair of yorkies from the east coast (that's where they said they're from). If you can find breeders that are willing to give you a direct number to call, willing to meet up with you to show you the pups, or willing to ask information about you before letting you adopt, chances are those are cool breeders. If they mention anything about money transfers or western union or shipping them to you before aquiring any background info, be careful. Good luck to your new adoption!

Pomeranian of course. They may be a little barkey but they can be trained not to bark incessantly and they are very smart. The Yorkie are cute but are very hard to house break and sometimes they don't house break no matter what you do. Shih Tzu are cute also but have a lot of medical problems like their eyes and ears. So definitely get a Pomeranian they look like little teddy bears. If you live in or around New York I know a couple of breeders including myself. So e-mail me for more info.

The Pomeranian is a lively little dog. Intelligent, eager to learn, very loyal to its handler and family. Willful, bold and sometimes temperamental. The Pomeranian must know the owner is the boss, or he will not listen. They may be picky eaters. The Pomeranian is a constant shedder.

The Shih-Tzu is an alert and spunky little dog. Happy and hardy, endowed with loads of character. They are royally dignified, courageous and sometimes arrogant. Shihs can get snappish if they are surprised or peeved. Some can be difficult to housebreak. Do not over feed this breed or it will quickly become fat. This breed sheds little to no hair.

The Yorkshire Terrier seems oblivious of its small size. It is ever eager for adventure and trouble. This little dog is highly energetic, brave, loyal and clever. Yorkies are easy to train, although they can sometimes be stubborn. The breed is demanding and dependant and needs a lot of human attention. They can be difficult to housebreak. This breed sheds little to no hair.

All three breeds bark a lot. Only the Pomeranian sheds excessively, though. The Shih-tzu has the longest life expectancy, while the Yorkie has the shortest. Good luck!

All three breeds are wonderful little dogs, but I am partial to poms. I've had poms continuesly since 1973. I've never bred dogs, but they have always been my companion. I have two poms currently that I bought from the same breeder in Florida. They are more than just a beautiful dogs, they are intelligent and full of spunk!

Be sure you get a puppy from a reputable breeder and not a pet store or back yard breeder. A reputable breeder will breed pups that are AKC standard in appearance and size. A breeder that is dedicated to the breed will breed to better the breed and not just to make money and know that you get what you pay for.

Here is the breeder in Florida. Check out the link.

a pomeranian,my wife has always wanted one,now she bought a blue pom,he weighs 2 1/2 lbs and he is 9 months old.read up on small dogs, because if you don't,yours will end up like my wifes 1500.00 dog.It got dehydrated and hospitalized, because they have to eat every 4 hours, when they are awake, because they have no body fat.The first 2 months were hell owning him.Now I wouldn't trade him for the world, now he fits in with our 3 cats,2 rat terrier,6 snakes,3 pet rats,50 fish, and now when I look at him ,to me a pomeranian is a rich mans or womans dog,I feel like I got a dollar or two in my pocket
