Paper, 2-5 months
Rope, 3-14 months
Orange peels, 6 months

Cigarette filters, 1 to 12 years
Tetrapaks, (plastics composite) milk cartons, 5 years
Leather shoes, 25 to 40 years
Nylon fabric, 30 to 40 years
Plastic bags, 10-20 years
Plastic 6-pack holder rings, 450 years
Styrofoam cup,1-100 years
Banana peel, 2-10 days"

Okay - I agree! Ups, no I disagree! "Whatever"! I can definately say this: "biodegradable bags" are, without a doubt, "biodegradable"!!!!!!
Oh, maybe you're asking whether they should be used or not!!!! I feel, definately that they should be used - we should be good to our planet - cause, whether you believe this, or not, right now - we don't have anywhere else to go!!!!!!

It must be difficult to do, because I have watched a programme and it showed how bits of plastic never degrade, there are tiny particles found in sand. What an awful thought. Makes you think doesn't it.
