Jake La motta vs Shane Mosley. Who would win?

Good question James G, nice to see I am not the only one with an overacvtive imagination pitting fighters from different eras against each other (see my 360 page blog "The great thing about boxing"..... okay enough about me, on to the answer.
At first, this fight seems a tough one to call, and I do think it would have been a pretty entertaining fight. However, if you look at the fight logically, I would say Lamotta would get the win. He beat Sugar Ray Robinson who many claim to be the best of all time. If he was able to beat that Sugar, why not this one? Maybe after the fight, he could fight Ray Leonard too and dispatch all of the Sugars. Although Mosley can still punch hard and he still has some speed, I do not think he would be able to hurt or frustrate Jake. His movement may annoy Lamotta a bit, but that movement would begin to slow down in the middle rounds after the battering to the body would take its toll. Eventually Jake would have his way with Shane, walk him into a corner where the ref would have to come in to stop the fight as Jake continually tees off on a drained, battered and bruised Mosley. Decision: Lamotta by TKO in the 8th round. After which, he calls out Sugar Ray Leonard..........

Jake was a very rough fighter and could take a good shot too. Sugar Shane would be on the run all night vs Jake who would constantly have him on the ropes much the way he did vs Sugar Ray Robinson during their fights. I believe that Sugar Shane could not hurt Jake and would lose by decision.

Jake LaMotta was a very tough man both as a fighter and as a person. Mosley is a speed demon in the ring. It would be as if Jake were fighting Sugar Ray Robinson, this time LaMotta wins this one on a unamious decision

I think Jake would tear mosley up. Jake was tough and fought the best in sugar ray robinson.
