No, our five senses are not adequate to even feel the truth. Person with ordinary senses are not capable, one who enhances and controls his 10 senses by meditation, yoga, chanting, etc. can lead to the path of finding the truth about lord. Every human is having 5 external and 5 internal senses. Eternal truth can be felt only by the internal senses (Heart, mind, soul, etc). He has to practice with concentration and keep his requirements to the minimum so that worry about resources (food, cloth, home, etc)/ luxuries may not come in between himself and the lord. A person who develops his senses to that extent that he may feel the lord not by the external senses but by his soul.
Only person who gets detatched from the material world and may find his connection with the lord can only find the truth.

Yes, there are more than adequate. However, the true understand of god or the Self-Nature within is not through external sense datas but through quieting or calming these datas from outside. Realizing that these sense datas are an illusion and having no own being will bring us the better truth of existences. External datas that we experienced depend on our internal sense organs to perceive them as such. What is dependent on another to arise or experience has no independent nature. Therefore, dependently originated datas are empty of existence. God and the universes are also dependently originated. What is conditioned will also ceased to exist when those conditions disappear.
Take care.

If the five senses were adequate to understand the Lord in his fullest context, we would not need faith.

The true nature of God is unknowable for our low evolutionary state at this time. As we evolve, we will gain greater understanding.

Some people, as throughout time has shown, use God for their own means. For their own purpose. From selfishness, all other "evils" are derived. People should show more tolerance in their respect for others beliefs, but it has always been like this beause of ignorance and selfishness.

I would ask this, do people truly believe they are helping another person by instilling their beliefs on another, or is it that they personally feel better doing it?. Isn't feeling more "above" others because of religious beliefs a form of pride?

actually there are six senses not five not gonna name 4 saving time here. If you have the six senses you are Buddha or God or what ever if not then you could consider youself the son of God. We do not have these senses is just because our "ignorance" has covered them.

I doubt they are, but He only gave us five senses (and fewer for some people), so we have to learn to work with what we have.

All you need is rational thought to understand that god is a human invention.
