If they're 7 and under, they're trainable. If they're 14 and under, they're guideable. If they're 21 and under, we must love them and pray for them. I think every student in my class thinks that they are my favorite. And, they're right. They're all my favorites. All anybody in the world wants is love. If they aren't getting it from their parents, we've got to give it to them. They can't get too much love. If they know you love them, they'll listen to you. There has to be a bonding before they'll listen. No bonding, no listening. Of course, we must try to be the example of our counselling, as well. "If your words exceed your deeds, verily, your death is better than your life." --Baha'u'llah (Prophet-Founder of the Baha'i Faith)

If we don't want our kids to drink, smoke, sleep around, use drugs; we must not smoke, drink, sleep around, use drugs. We must walk our talk, or save it--it means nothing.

Be a good example. If they have at least one good example, they'll know the whole world isn't a farse.

Unfortunately, antisemitism is rampant in this country! And all because the believe that the Jews killed Jesus Christ! You'd think by now, that people would be intelligent enough to figure out that the Jews did not put Christ to death! The Romans did! If believers want to hate someone so profoundly?, why not hate the Italians! It would at least be accurate!! Until historians can unite in theories about this subject?,, the the Jews will be blamed for everything, especially controlling the banks, and the media! How dumb can you get!

Do all you can to make sure that the school uses their own 'disclipline policy' when there is trouble.

Too many times, schools do not do this and the bullying keeps going ignored by the schools.

I have found the reason for this is that in the 'no child left behind act' one of the stipulations is that schools who have fewer 'discipline incidents' get MORE MONEY

So, schools let the bullying continue just so they can get more money, not addressing the issues at all.

This law is violating another law, which is the 'bullying law' that each state has, and that each school MUST follow when there is trouble in schools.

As a teacher, you aren't equipped to help anyone with anything. Remember that old adage, some do, teachers suck.
