I can't use the correct term for a female dog, and if I wanted to describe my local church I would be forced to say that on the steeple there is a weather vane in the shape of a ****, or penis.

The forum automatically censors foul language. 'Self Policing' Yahoo does not do any censoring of this forum, it's done by the people who use the service. They report the question or answer as abuse, then send it off to the Yahoo staffers and they pull the question or answer.

Of course your female dog is a b i t c h; and weathercock is as offensive as a peacock, as c o c k means a male bird. Some people are a bit immature & stupid when it comes to 'taboo' words, because their dirty minds have forgotten or never learnt the original meanings. It looks as if someone has an oversensitive 'censor program/editor' that doesn't into account context. Looks like there more work available for programmers/linguists. It's a pity that too many rude net-surfing teenagers (without parental supervision) have spoilt it for everyone.

The employees of yahoo are the ones who censor you. They have a program that looks for certain words and deletes them or the question. After all there are kids on here plus some other folks who don't like those words. I for one don't mind them but hey i don't own yahoo so either play by their rules or just stop using those words.
