If that is all it takes to be a christian no wonder they can claim most of the world is christian.
I don't think any christians realy belive that. I could be wrong.

"Gay" indeed.
Homosexuality is quite plainly condemned in the Bible. Homosexuality and Christianity are therefore mutually exclusive. And all the revisionism in the world, and squawking about human rights and all the rest of it won't change that.
Homosexuals simply need to grow up and accept that, just like everybody else in the world, they have to pay for the decisions they make. Contrary to popular myth, they are not special or unique and they really don't deserve any kind of special treatment because of what they choose to be. If somebody chooses to be a homosexual (and yes, I use the word "chooses" in the literal sense), they need to understand fully and without any doubt that to call themselves Christian is complete hypocrisy, and all they do is bring Christianity in to disrepute.
As for your other comments, two wrongs never make a right. Anybody who fails to conform with the teachings of the Bible in any way, shape or form, is not a true Christian. And if they truly believe in what the Bible says without abiding by it's rules they can expect a stay in hell themselves.
Most (but by no means all) self-professed Christians are far from Christian. There are just too many wannabes out there who talk the talk but never walk the walk.

fieldscharlie,
That's right! Finally someone else is saying it!
All the fundies are just modern day Pharisees, waiting to cast their judgemnets with, " The Bible says that it's an abomination," so what else is obvious? And the sins of the Pharisee's continue. While they stop what it is they are supposed to be doing and preaching Christ, not sin.
Message to fundies-- people who foul up the message of grace, you are sinners too. All of you. The time you spend with your sin message should be cut off. You are not preaching grace. You are as much as a part of the devils mouth as you could possibly be.
Preach Christ, let God do the convicting. That's what His Spirit does, it changes people. And just because you are communicating to a homosexual doesn't mean that it's become your job. Tell them of grace, you do know what that is, right? It's the only thing keeping you oput of Hell for all the sinning you fundies are doing. You are supposed to be saved by grace through faith. Same as you, same as anyone who wants to recieve the message.

Uhh... Lesbians are gay, and God does not condemn them to hell just because of their sexual preference. Trust me... there will be plenty of heterosexuals in heaven. Fornication is a sin. Too many people believe that God hates homosexuals. In the first place the term is practicing homosexuals. In the second place, the word that translates to us as 'hate' meant loves less in Semitic usage.

NO....good christians go to heaven no matter what sexual preference they have. Same goes for those bad ones that are going to hell. God does not judge us based on society stereotypes, he judges us on what's in our hearts and minds.

Christians don't think - they just blindly believe, like children who don't understand the real world.
