Because Jesus has been dead for nearly two thousand years

So, you want Jesus to undo what we have done!
Why should he when we are meant to learn by our own mistakes and take wisdom into tomorrow-not fool hearted stubbornness that will only drag yesterdays mistake into tomorrow

We should be learning yet being ignorant I'd say, wouldn't you?
When we finally remove the blindfolds and see our own mistakes are creating tomorrows gloom then maybe we will do something about it

We can't do anything as an individual other than for our selves and for our own lives and inner peace, but maybe if enough of us pray for peace-then hope will become victorious

I saw the world burning in my dreams, hmmm....
Just responding to somebody who said his second coming is when the world burns.

When He comes the world will be burned. Those not in Him(a christian) will be burned at His coming are you saying you want Him back now? I do but I am a christian. I agree with you this world is a mess but we have only ourselves (mankind) to blame He came 2000 years ago and taught us the way of peace. It's man that has rejected Him and His ways. It's man that has been the cause of all the wars all the pollution. He gave us our free will and dominion of the world and this is what we have done with it.. We have reason to be ashamed...Jim

He was here three times and each time he came Mankind screwed things up.... so the next time he comes...its to clean house.

But why would he come to sort out this mess, it's mankind that needs to clean up the mess themselves.

Peace

"Jesus" may or may not have been a real person, but not a divine being.
If he did exist, and only then as a historic figure, and IF his teachings were accurately translated, he would be very sad at the state of the world.
Imaginary friends can't solve real problems.

How do you know he isn't? It says in the bible that prior to his second coming, a huge war would break out in the the countries now known as Iraq and Iran.

Oh, but He is. He is busy right now doing just that.

U mean why doesn't He do this instantly? It has to do with God's objective with mankind. We're not toys for Him, we are persons with our own freedom and determination. He wants us to exercise that, learn our lessons and evolve "by ourselves" - that is why Divine intervention is mostly hidden.

Ringoman,
He already told us what would happen! What more do you want? Is it his fault that you dont, know how to read? Or that you are too lazy to find out?

I don't see any messes. It all makes perfect sense to Him, the stage is set for certain things to happen and you don't know what it is. What does He care that you aren't interested in what He said? who the f'ck are you?

He is.

Whenever two or more of us are gathered in his name, he's there.

He also promises that his grace will be sufficient for all our needs.

If you haven't yet encountered him, maybe you're hanging with the wrong crowd.
