can one live without an adrenal gland?

my fight or flight reflex is stuck in the on position. if i were to have my adrenal gland removed (assuming someone would do the surgery), could i survive?

You are born with two adrenal glands.they are on top of each one of your kidneys.You can live regardless of whether you have one removed and or a bilateral adrenalectomy.
