have some file , but it says they are corrupted, is there a free software to fix that???

You cannot fix a corrupted compressed file without the original files. The programs suggested can only attempt to recover files from the uncorrupted portion of the compressed file. It will not repair the corrupted portion of it though.

zipping files is a means to re-arrange data into smaller and more compact files so that the computer has easier means of storing it. there is a small chance that this will corrupt files, but you shouldn't worry that much about it.

Chances are, no software will be able to completely recover your files.

no. corrupted means 'garbage'! How do you resurrect a complete Turkey dinner from a ribcage and some crusted dressing part?

u can't unzip corrupted files. i tried all srts if s'ware,none can make it work after tht.
