First of all do not be so eager to fall in love. It is a very strong emotion that does not necessarily bring that Utopian feeling we all dream of. There is much heartbreak, sadness, betrayal, cheating, disrespect, dishonor and the need to own someone to name a few of its side effects. Many of us are hardly equipped to handle it with rational behavior.
Love is not that easy to identify and the amount of time it takes to fall in love varies significantly.
There are times you think you are..and you're not. Then when you don't think you are...you are. Then later when you feel more strongly toward someone that you never felt before, you realize that what you thought was love was nothing compared to this.
Do you get my point?
Try to have fun in your relationships and try to really know them b4 you go for the big "L". Infatuation and closeness and sex and all that can blur your mind. Be careful and don't rush. Use common sense and regardless of what maintain your dignity and don't allow anyone to rule your life. It belongs to you. "To thine own self be true".

Well i stalked my husband for 3 weeks before asking him out i was only 17 i knew on our first date we were meant to be we have been together now for 5 years we are happily married with a little girl and another baby in 7 Weeks we have our Owen home and live life like we are in our 30 but w knew what we wanted and i knew he was the one for me i dint tell my husband though i loved him till around a month into the relation ship but when i did i made absolutely shore i was and i knew it was true when i said those words you should not tell someone that you love them unless deep down you really do. see i cant picture myself with any one other than my husband i could not have sex with any one other that my husband and i have felt like that from day one and he tells me the same every day. And i know it true he comes home to me and his family every day and the first thing he ells me and his little girls i have missed you so much and that i love you guys and i wish i was home to spend more time with yous. When people jump in they are only hopping that they have found that one person but like i said you will never know unless you give it a go in some cases yes it may just be a word but in others they mean it.

I'd say you're infatuated by about month two, really in love by maybe month seven? I dunno. I think 'I love you' is best if it just slips out of your mouth one day - if somebody makes a big production over saying it for the first time, especially if it's too fast, I'd wonder who they were trying to fool. Then again, I've thought I was falling in love after as little as like four or five dates, so I guess it can happen as fast as however reckless you feel like being.

well people confuse Love with Lust. I couldent possibly tell someone i love them and mean it without at least dating them a few months ( 2 at the very least ). Relationships take time, how can you say you love someone after knowing them a week. its nonsense.
Just because the other person likes you, dosent mean you have to love them.
I ask myself the same question alot.

Many times people confuse "love" with "lust", especially the younger ones.
Here's how to distinguish between the two: Stare at them from across the room and ask yourself "Would I honestly, truly, with all my heart, enjoy being financially ruined by that person?"
If the answer is "yes", then it's LOVE.
