My ex shes 15 going on 16 and a while back when we got back together for the second time she told me she wanted to have a baby as soon as she could meaning this year. Its safe to say I ran as fast as I could being a dad at 17 would be a turn off. Now shes 4 or 5 months pregnant with a 19 year olds kid. Is she too young to be having a kid? Is he too old her?

Before you ask yes her mom knows about the older guy and stuff. One thing made me uncomfotable one day she asked me to be the stepdad to her baby even tho shes still with the father of her baby. she says she loves him alot but he cant replace me and I'm the one for her.

15 is way too young, she hasn't even lived life yet. That's too bad that she went all the way with wanting to place house. If I were you I would leave and not come back until she grows up. She doesn't seem to know what she wants and is playing around with every ones head and emotions. Does the father of the baby know what she is telling you? U may just be a stand by in case he truly doesn't work out. Babies are the most demanding and selfish human beings on the face of this earth... that is their job. Its exhausting physically,mentally, and emotionally when you have a child. Its not just all about dressing them in the latest Gwen steffani tshirts, or converse shoes. Its dirty diapers, making bottles, non stop crying. Sure you got the great moments but if you're not prepared for the bad then you have no idea of what you're getting yourself into.

Yes she is really to young. So many teenage girls think that its easy. They usualy want children cuz they want someone to love them. I met a 14 year old girl tonight at work that has a 2 month old baby. My heart breaks for her. I was a teen age mother myself. I was 15 when I got pregnant. The father of my child was also 19. Presently yes he is to old for her. There are laws against a 19 year old being with a 15 year old. 16 is the age of consent in most states when it comes to a guy being 18 to 21.

You run and hide from her. She wants YOU to be the stepdad because she knows you are more mature and responsible than the 19 year old. She's only trying to get you to sign papers so she can financially wipe you out by collecting child support from you.
You sound like a bright young man with a good head on your shoulders. You deserve someone who will treat you better than she's ever treated you. Trust me, you will find that special someone and you'll have kids of your own.

In some countries where women are traded like cattle i.e. muslim or hindu or that sort of thing, they have babies as soon as their bodies are able. They have little choice and no rights.
In the civilised world, there are laws that govern these things.
Even operating within the law, there are many things to consider- like how well the girl can look after the baby, and the commitment factor which is usually 16 to 18 years.
I think some women dont do much with themselves after having kids, and it can be traumatic for them to try and enter the workforce completely unskilled in their mid thirties.

I think 18 or 19 is the right age to have a baby..at least she can
look after a baby at that age without any help from mom..
as for you to be a step dad ...refuse bluntly otherwise you will mess up your life..baby has got a dad ..if you become step dad ..
its like being a spear prick at a wedding

Too young to have a baby = no job + no house + no car + no benefits! If by any chance she has all of the above, kudos to her, but no one under the age of 25 should have a child unless they are stable. Be careful, it's a humongous responsibility. I would definitely get a puppy first for practice. Always use protection.

She is too young and should be going out and enjoying life - now her life is totally tied up with her child. Chilldren are wonderful but also very demanding and expensive. You really need to wait until you have the maturity, understanding, time and money - also it is best to bring children up in a stable family environment where they can feel safe and happy.
Wait until you have experienced life before having children.

I know 30 year olds who are too young to have babies. It depends on maturity and the ability to commit to raising a child as best as possible and being able to pay for college tuition. If you don't have the means to educate your offspring, you should not procreate.
Any age ending in "teen" is just absolutely way too young.

I was 20 and that was too young. And to want to plan to be pregnant as a teen is way to early. Don't ever get involved with her again. My ex resents the fact that he was a teenage father and says it ruined his life. (Nice thing for a father to say, huh?)
