Now.......you didn't say why you are afraid??? Is this just a thing with you and women drivers or what or is this a thing with your gf's driving ability??

If its just a thing with women drivers in general then start walking, drive by yourself, get over it or grow up.

If its a thing with your gf's driving abilty and a legit complaint then thats something you will need to discuss with her with care.

I'm glad all men don't feel like you do if its in the first case - this past spring I went to an awards ceremony which was about 2 hours away from my home. There were 5 of us going - myself and 4 guys. We were to take the bosses car (who was not attending because he was ill). We had to go over to the bosses house to pick up his car. They all climbed in my vehicle to go get the car and then when we go there the tossed me the keys to the bosses car and said *You Drive*. This was a mix of younger and older men and I had never driven with them before - but they also knew I had driven many places.

Don't be scared of women drivers - there is no reason. There are jerks in both sexes behind the wheel.

If you feel she is honestly not a good enough driver for you to ride with (a FULLY understandable complaint, i wont ride with more than 50% of my friends, and if it were up to me, 90% of drivers wouldnt have their liscence with how they drive), then make that very clear to her. Make sure she understands its not a trust issue, but a safety one, and express your genuine concern. If she doesnt recognize your sincerity, then shes a moron.

and refuse to ride with her. she may get mad at you, but if shes going to break up with you for something so stupid, then chances are it wasnt going to work out anyways.

and to the person that said dont be worried because she has her liscence: Thats hardly proof you can drive. if youre 18 and can sign your name you can get a liscence. hardly qualification.

driving safety isnt looked at close enough. I lost 3 of my best friends earlier this year due to an accident. 3000+ pound vehicles are lethal weapons. you wouldnt let someone you felt unqualified play with a gun around you, would you? Exact same situation.

by refusing to get in your girlfriend car you are as much as saying to her i don,t trust her driving that,s why she s getting annoyed with you, you don,t give your reasons for not wanting to get in the car when she driving other then you are scared , if your g/f is a good driver why be scared , i think its a macho thing on with you , if so then its you who acts like a b****

What's wrong with a woman driver? Come on, it's not like an alien is on the wheel. I can see bad male drivers every day.

get your own car and pick her up and drive, if shes not afraid to ride with you driving of course. Or you can use public transportation together.

you're just acting childish! if she has a drivers license, then theres no reason why it should be life-threatening for you ´to get in the car. just relax!
