Heres a good name for the shop "the head shop" you could go in there and get your hair dyed or cut. You could get a tongue piercing or get your gauges stretched. Then you could get a little shamrock on your heal, or a nice set or 1/4 sleeves. And just before you leave pick up a new piece and get some zig zags on your way out the door. talk about a buisness would you go there?

Depends on where you plan on opening this place. The cops are going to be on you like a bad smell. Believe it or not. The license is going to cost a bundle and the insurance is going to drag you to the ground. You will have every kind of nut case in the world hanging around out front. After all how many piercings can you get after eyes, ears, lips, tongues, and privates are done. The people that pay for hair cuts and all this 'other' stuff are in different groups. You should pick on or the other and do it. Zigs and tattoos or hair and piercings. The two together are not going to be much of a business.

definitally not-places like this are doing piercings and tattoos to make a quick buck they dont have the passion necessary to take good measure to learn and be safe. I've been to piercing/hair salons usually people to drop out of their apprenticeships or cant handle it are the ones who end up working there as the standards are sub par to say the least. It's really hard to have a PROPER set up to do all these things w/o having a LARGE shop. every area would have to be enclosed to pass the health inspection...so you'd have a room for hair-there would have to be strips around the door to be sure no hair could escape this room and get into the other rooms as it's a biohazard, a room for tattoos, a room for piercing, a room for biohazard/sterilization for the tattoos and piercings, (hopefully) a biohazard room for the salon side, lots of space in the looby for all this crap you want to sell, areas for flash/body jewelry, customers to sit. etc etc etc....you see what i'm getting at?

FYI it's stretched piercing not gauges, gauges are the measurement of your stretched lobes or piercings that you get stretched.

I've been in one that was similar and I thought it was a bit wierd because you want to make sure that the tatoo and piercings are clean. So it worked in this place because they were seperated into a different room and they made it really clear that the other side was sterile.

Yeah, I'd go there. There's the Road Show here, it's just like a head shop and they sell exotic reptiles, clothes, boots & jewelry... it's pretty cool.
