I would really like to talk with my neighbors goat and his dog about something, but first I need them to speak English. I have this idea about how I can impress my girlfriend. While we sit on the picnic table I can have the dog and goat come up behind her and say hi and when she turns around she sees the goat and the dog and my girlfriend will think i'm a ventriliquist!!

Personally, I find it much more impressive that the goat and the dog are already fluent in languages other than English. Your girlfriend will probably love hearing the goat speak French to her. It's a very romantic-sounding language. Especially from a goat.
