I don't really believe that any religions are better than each other, but i do believe in god, and i think that god is not caught up in trivial rituals such as covering your face, or not eating pork, or going to church every sunday, or saying hail mary's .

I believe that if you're a christian, and you live a good life in the name of christ, then god accepts that as living for him. Or, if you're a Muslim, and you live a good life in the name of allah, then god accepts that as living for him.

I think that god accepts all religions as his own, unless they are based on bad things such as hatred. I believe that as long as you live your life for a god that you believe is real, god will accept that.

Clearly you have not studied in depth the tenets of even the most common religions. They are not all the same and the gods of each of them are very different.

You said that "I believe that as long as you live your life for a god that you believe is real, god will accept that"

Basically that is like saying you are your own god, your own religion, because you are deciding if you go to heaven or not.
When it comes being good, how good is good?

I'm not super big on religion but I do accept the possibility of god, I just don't actively follow or believe. However you brought up a valid point I think, if god truly loves "us" then I would imagine he would be understanding. "Aw you were led astray, no big deal you know the truth now." that kind of thing. Wouldn't sectioning out all kinds of people that aren't exactly as he wants them to be and sending them straight to hell sound like a certain historical figure that killed millions upon millions of people cause they weren't pure blood god fearing NAZI? Sorry I strayed from the point, which was you have a good point.

I agree with you somewhat, but not totally. It would seem that truth is important to God, in whatever form it may take. And the ten commandments were given to us to show the Godly nature, which none of us can say we entirely have. In the 1st letter of John (not the gospel of John) in the Bible, it states the following:

He that says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not where he goes, because that darkness has blinded his eyes. (1st John 2:9-11)

Then it goes on to say, (vs 22&23)" Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father: (but) he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also."

(vs 8): He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

(and 10-12): this shows who are the children of God, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not do righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

As far as your feeling that God can see right through our contrived religious facades to the heart, I am right with you! And the Bible actually says something like that in Romans chapter 2, listen to this:

For not the hearers of the law (The 10 commandments), are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles (non-religious), who do not have the law do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ...

I appreciate your belief but in this world there are 10 primary religions and many beliefs, all of them said my religion is good and the other bad. So the question is what is good religion in the God's eyes?

these are an illustration about tree :

Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit. a good free cannot bear worthless fruit neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. And what happen with worthless fruit? as a farmer u will cut down and thrown the fire ... is it right? ... so by their fruits u will recognize a good tree. and
these is the same with religion. A good religion will be recognized by their fruits (people's attitude, behavior, spoken, thinking and all of thing as God's wanted). God will not accept all religion just only one ... thats what i have believe

I believe that 'religion' is man made. It supress's the human mind on knowledge, understanding and even value. When you break all religions down, they all lead to the same person...God or what ever you want to name creator. Spirit is 'free' so shall belief, not supressed like religion. I had a teacher one time that stated: the people should do away with religion, if they would - then they'd truly see what God is all about.

1. I do not involve myself with any organized religion. Someone always arrogates themself into a position of authority, or claims to have a direct pipline to god and push their agenda to make a living.

2. If no one is breaking any laws of the government, or state, incurring bodily harm to anyone — live and let live.

3. It's not necessary to agree upon everything except what we need for survival, like clean water, food, shelter, fire, appropriate clothing for the weather, etc.

against,
If you read those books that tell people how to be a Christian(Bible), or how to be a Muslim (Koran), you will find that both claim that you are wrong. There aren't many ways, as I will stick to the Bible reference since I know that the best. There is one way in.

Matthew 7:13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

So according to Christianity, there is only one way. Not just by this verse does it say that, but many.

Please do not fool yourself by accepting pleasing doctrines of inclusion. The same source that tells people that they are Christian, is the same source that says it isn't all inclusive. In fact, it says that there is either your way, or God's way.

The problem is that people who are living a life for whatever god they believe in discover their viewpoints conflict with other's. Who decides who's right then? I personally believe that your religious beliefs belong in your home, in your heart, in your family and in your church. If people lived by that credo the world would be a happier place.

I totaly agree with you. I do not attend church but I do strongly believe that there is a GOD. When we are called home I do believe that God is not going to seperate us all. We will all live in one kingdom in heaven. God Bless
