As you said she is 6 years younger than you. She probably thinks you are the very coolest thing on the planet so what do you do? Set a good example, be mature enough to realize the good things you can teach her, spend time with her but make a deal up front that after your time together you sometimes need time for yourself.

Well, as her big sis, she's your responsibility. Your her role model, well i should know since I have a big sis who's 6 yrs. older than me(lol). When I was little, wherever big sis goes, I go. And yeah I've seen how my big sis gets annoyed when I try to force her to play barbie dolls with me.
Okay bout your problem, if she's still a kid like.. 10-3 yrs old. Kids are stubborn so might as well play or spend some time with her, better than getting blamed by your mom, because of how you made her cry. try to balance your time for your own personal life and with your family. It'll all pass when she gets older.
If she's like 11 and above, she's probably old enough to understand that you need some room to breathe. Explain it to her in a nice way, shouting or yelling will only make things worse she'll either annoy you more or she'll hate you for the rest of her life or worse you might make her feel unwanted...

She's probably being a pain, because she wants you to spend some time with her. Play a game with her. If she is younger, read a story to her. If you are her older sister, maybe you can braid her hair if it's long enough, and play "dress up"--you know, the stuff that sisters do together. If she's into Barbies, maybe play with Barbies. Also, let her know that you also need your space.

She just wants to be with you and be like you. Set a certain time a day aside just to spend with her. build a friendship with her. She will look forward to that set time and soon you will too. It won't be long before you are away from her and won't see her that often and you will miss each other. Then when you get older you will not have time for each other.
