If you mean Baptized, yes, he was Baptized before he started his public ministry. His legs were not broken. That was a common practice to hasten the death of criminals so they would sufficate. Jesus was already dead, so they did not break his legs.

[John 19:33] But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs,
[John 19:34] but one soldier thrust his lance into his side, and immediately blood and water flowed out.
[John 19:35] An eyewitness has testified, and his testimony is true; he knows that he is speaking the truth, so that you also may (come to) believe.
[John 19:36] For this happened so that the scripture passage might be fulfilled: "Not a bone of it will be broken."

I'm unaware of the word 'bobittsied' so I can't answer that question.

Jesus' legs were NOT broken. Read John 19:31-37 verse 33 says "but when they (the Roman soliders) came to Jjesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs."

History says that during Roman crucifixions they could not let the bodies hang on the crosses during Sabbath. If the person died they took the body down and usually burned it. If the person wasn't dead before sun down on Friday night (when Jewish Sabbath begins) the soliders broke their legs. By doing this the people on the crosses could not longer support their weight and died within a few minutes from suffication. Then they took the bodies down and burned them. During any other day of the week they would let the people hang until they died, usually 2-3 days, from suffication, dehydration and starvation or wild birds would peek at them.

Jesus died before the Roman soliders were told to break their legs. They broke the two thieves legs, the two men hanging at Jesus' side. Then one solider went up to Jesus to break His legs and noticed that He was already dead. That solider said He was already dead and the commander of the army gave him a spear and told him to spear Jesus' side to make sure. He did and blood and water poured out and onto the solider's face.

The Old Testament has many references to sacrifical lambs. When a Hebrew made an animal sacrifice to God they had to use an unblemished lamb, a lamb that wasn't ill and didn't have any broken bones. These readings take us into the New Testament where Jesus is our sacrifical Lamb. Thus He couldn't have any illness or broken bones. Taking readings from the Old Testament, where we are being prepared for Jesus' appearance on earth and then relating them to the books in the New Testament where it's all about Jesus is called "typology". Your friend, the research scholar, needs to do more research.

Your research scholar friend must be researching the wrong stuff.

None of Jesus' bones were broken. The other two who were crucified with him did have their legs broken. Not Jesus, though.

Jesus had a spear thrust into his chest to make sure he was really dead. He was.

I don't know what bobittised means.

Is that anything like Martinizing? I get my clothes dry cleaned all the time, but I didn't think they had dry cleaning in Jesus' time.

Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist before he was crucified.
Although His side was pierced with a spear, His legs were not broken. It was a common practice in Roman crucifixion to break the legs of those who were crucified in order to hasten their deaths, but not in Jesus"s crucifixion. Your friend needs to do a little better job of scholarly research

Bob titst what on Jesus?
He was baptised by his cousin John & from then on comanded us all to be baptised in his name.
It did not say his legs were broken in the bible, but most crucified prisoners legs were broken to speed death.
Jesus had a soldier's lance stuck in his side near his liver,to see if he was dead.Bloody water gushed out.
His body was then asked for by the rich man who gave Jesus his own tomb. That is where he laid until the ressurection.

Not sure but if you hurry up and go to sleep - Church will be open soon - maybe a Priest can fill you in about the torture of Jesus and the rituals practiced prior to his death. When you find out his interpretation - please let us all know.

P.S. Is that your friend, the research scholar - with the short red slip on?

Charming!

Before he was taken to be crucified he sweet blood and cryed unto God that he wish he didnt have to do this but He said because it was Gods will He would do it. Even Jesus was given free will.

She is refering to crucifixtion rituals. Where if the one hanging there was taking too long to die they would break the legs to spead up the process.

The Bible doesnt say they did that to Jesus. It does say hes was:
beaten
dragged
spit upon
his beard pulled out
rocks thrown at him
nails driven through his hands and feet
{not to mention striped of his clothes to further humiliate him]
a crown of thorns put on him
[a sign put abouv him, king of the jews]
given vinager to drink
speared by a roman soldier
[but by relieving the presure on jesus lungs and ribcage making it hard to breath he was actualy prolonging his death]
only then he finaly forgave them and died in our stead.

Sorry so graphic but its the truth! Peace! :)

SHE IS ALSO A LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go read your Bible.
There was no bone in his body broken...
As far as I can remember there was nothing like that said about the front of Jesus, but it said He had been beaten so, that not even His mother could recognize Him. His meat was hanging from His bones, which could be seen. Don't listen to her...
Read the Word and you will know what happened....

You use a nonstandard word, "bobittised". Most readers of your question will have no idea what it is: they don't know it, and it does not appear in dictionaries.
The most authoritative record of Jesus is in the first four books of the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. There is no infomation in these four books indicating that Jesus' legs were broken when he was crucified.
