Dude - first, evolution is a THEORY. Why do religious folk only believe in TRUE or FALSE; there is some truth/proof to evolution, but there is still much to be explored and proven or disproven.
Second - there is PLENTY that is not mentioned in ANY scriptures, yet they are still TRUE. In fact, when it comes to mathematics, there is actually an error in the Bible, which states that Pi is 3, which is incorrect. So - should we start remeasureing circles by using the measure provided in the Bible, or a more accurate measure beyond the scriptures.
If all the answers and truths that you seek are ONLY to be found in the Bible, then I am sorry for you.
And another way to look at it is that the KNOWLEDGE of evolution did not exist two-thousand or more years ago, so how could it be included?

Because, Charles Darwin was born after the scriptures were written. We learn from our mistakes. You might as well continue adding; If space flight is possible, why wasn't it written in the scriptures ? You can ask that question for vaccines,the television,X-Rays,The Hydrogen Bomb,the automobile,the computer,The General Theory of Relativity, Newtons Mechanics. I hope you know that the things that were writen in the Bible are from a long time before the theory of Evolution was crystallised,debated and then proved over and over.

do you also belive that the earth was flooded for 40 days and 40 nights and that Noah got millions of different species on to his boat and had all the food to feed them as well?, anyways the answer to your question is because the bible is full of alot of untrue things the sooner you realize this the better off you will be

God has revealed and will continue to reveal truths that will help us to return to Him. That is His ultimate goal, the salvation of mankind. Is knowing whether evolution is true or not going to help us be a better person, love our neighbor more, or believe in Him more?
However, God does not want us to be ignorant. The glory of God is intelligence and we should do all that we can to learn and expand our minds. Maybe one day He will reveal to us the truth of evolution.
