How do you give God 10% That's like a bank giving Bill Gates $1 million of his own money. They spend it on themselves. How do you support a pastor, or preacher that doesn't live in your neighborhood?
That is also why we have seen a boom in non denominational churches in this country. No rules.

It goes directly to God through the services it provides for His children.

No no...Some of it goes into a nice 401k. The rest probably goes into those shiny gold thrones they sit on at the altar... or perhaps to that boat payment..... or that nice large expensive house they own..... or their vacation timeshare.... or maybe to the local republican "family values" candidate.....
All in the name of jesus, of course.
