It's best to not go all day and not eat, we need fuel like our cars do...eating late at nite will make you gain weight, but if you haven't eaten all day, eat yogurt or a cheese sandwich....nothing real big...I would say

Eating a big meal late at night may make you gain weight; it will also disturb your sleep. If you're not eating all day, you're obviously going to be starving when you come home at night, and you're not likely to make good choices about what you're going to eat. ("Hello, Domino's?").My idea for how to take care of yourself (not just your waistline!) is to make sure you DO get nourishment throughout the day, ideally in small amounts every few hours. Aim to sneak in whole grains, in the form of crackers, brown rice, whole-wheat couscous, bulgur and the like, whenever you can; fresh fruit is good too. These fill you up without slowing you down, and you won't be as tempted to raid the fridge when you get home. Good luck.

well you probably shouldnt have high carb foods late at night, while you are sleeping you are not burning off much fat, so if you have to eat late, have light meals.
You should never only eat once a day, what about breakfast. and have some fruit with you to eat thru the day even if your busy.

The thought behind that is that if you eat a big meal late at night and then go to bed, your metabolism slows down and you won't be able to burn it off. If you work at night then that would be o.k.

I've been eating twice a day.
Bowl of cereal with soy milk in the morning, or oats, or oatmeal. But only ONE serving.
For lunch I have anything but just in small portion. Like a cup of each whatever is on my plate.
I've lost 4 lbs in 3 days.
I don't eat dinner, just lots of tea.

Rule of thumb for dieting. Don't eat anything 3 hours before bed. That gives you a chance to burn some of it off.

everyone is different. I've always eaten whenever I was hungry, regardless of what time it was and never had a weight problem.
