YES, it means they are smart enough to realize that love isn't the chemical and hormonal reactions you experience in the beginning infatuation stages of a relationship. It means they realize that truly loving someone means knowing and then accepting who they are, the good and the bad and that would give me great hope for the relationship! I find nothing more discouraging than when someone I've dated for a few weeks says they love me! I find it offensive because they don't even know me yet so what exactly do they think they love? It means they love their IDEA of me and I don't want to compete with that!

It just depends on the situation and who it is.

If you like them, then you should be a friend and just see what happens. The worst thing that can happen is you end up with another friend.

I know this isn't easy. I have dealt with this in way more relationships then I would have liked, but you can't force someone to love you.

Just be yourself, be the best you, you can be, and I think you will find someone.

I would say yes, but I would also ask how much time. Your question does not set the situation, thus if could be a wise person to ask this question or it may be gentle way of saying don't call me, I'll call you.

Shakespeare wrote, "Love moderately, long love doth so."

depends. Is that what they said in response to you saying "I love you" first? If so, NOT good. They probably just like you more as a friend.

It depends on who says it to you.

If someone you love says, then maybe it's not so good. But if someone else says it as advice, then it's good.
