I'm a Christian and I say what I mean.If it's X than it is,if Y then it is Y. As far as preachers go they are all different in some ways, some are very hard to relate to and others not. What gets me is when a man or group of people change the rules not God but people.

Nice question. But actually christians mean that "church wants (X)". U see most priests just want power and control. Thats the point in pope being most powerful over a community and such.
Head of religions(every) needs power to control their followers. Thats why some say that u'll go 2 hell if u deny god, or dont do this and that.

It's all a matter of cause-and-affect.
Did Christians "cause" God and his perspective? Or did God cause a man to be a christian and follow him?
If the latter, then if there's any similiarities between what the Christian God says and what a preacher wants, - then it's typically the preacher conformed to the word-of-God.
btw.... It's kind of perveted and self-righteous that a limp-wristed "christian" says .."Nobody can be sure of what God wants, therefore, - I think this is the thing to do" !! (Didn't that person just exhault their opinion to the final authority)??

Good for you to notice and tell all of us stupid people who has not noticed. Perhaps the first question you should ask is, "How do they know what God wants?" Apart from a few people (Abraham, Moses, ...and don't forget the latest one George W. Bush) in history whom historians (not all) think may (and a big strong "may") have spoken to God all the others who claims to have spoken with god turns out to be insane lunatics. Do you really think that anybody is that important that God will come and say He specifically want .... And if God want someone do you seriously think that it is not possible for God to get that someone himself. Oh GOD!!!!!!!!

Not Christians....or politicians, or preachers, or most others
JUST mathematicians....
They appeal to the divinity to get "X"
They'll appeal to anyone/anything/God or Devil at times
Swear that some hell spawned demon created problems with hard to find "X's....
sometimes, it seems that God him/her/itself would struggle to get that elusive "X"
and don't even ask about "Y"

To answer your question, yes, I have noticed it. I think that's why I fear the Republican Party so much as of late...

Yea, how would they know what God wants? Are they God like? If so how do they know they are? Sounds a bit arrogant IMO.
