Vietnam was NOT a war it was a POLICE action......big difference! Iraq is also NOT a war it is an invasion by a sovereign power( The United States) to try and force another country into submission and belief that the US always has the right answer and that ALL countries of the world should do as the US does! he US also did not declair war on Iraq!

Maybe. If they fall for stuff like the Military Industrial complex started the Vietnam War. When in fact we were fighting Communism. We kept South Korea free.
Today it's blood for oil!
Or the American people keep raising Cain. Since it was in fact
the protestors that beat us, and let all those people die for nothing.

What do you mean we lost Vietnam? We never lost one single battle with the NVA...ever, the Tet Offensive was a total failure for the insurgency.

We withdrew from Vietnam, and left a democratically elected government in charge. When we left, the NVA, backed by both China and the Soviets, rolled in, massacared millions, and enslaved the south.

Have you even read an actual history book?

Only if we allow politicians to run the war instead of the military like we did in Vietnam. The other way is to allow folks like you who have so little sense to have any say in world affairs

Totally different situations. Officially, the 'war' ended three years ago. The process of 'nation-building' is what we are facing right now, it is that that is success or failure.
The war has been one long ago. That's a seperate matter.
What's in the air is whether or not the nation-building will succeed.
