Yes, yes, you are terrible to pose something so terrible. How dare you attack god. I mean he only allowed answered the one prayer of Hitler and ingored the 6,000,000 from the jews. He's a just god and we should all kill ourselves to fullfill our faith to him. At least all of you pathetic christians should kill yourselves. You know a person who truely followed the faith of christ wouldn't even engage in a conversation like this. They would smile, say jesus loves us all, and move on fullfilled. But, you losers always feel the need to justify your own faiths. You are a bunch of self serving demagogues and I pray that that antichrist does arise and crucify all of you!

The kind of lame brain knucklehead who loved his Father and humanity so much that He allowed himself to be sacrificed on the alter of the cross in unendurable agony in payment in full for sins against His Father so that lame brain knuckleheads like you can go on living. Lets do start getting real here. It"s not a fairy tale. It"s reality. Grow up yourself and do some honest research and study.

Very interesting. The Christians who responded to this question mostly rose above the baiting and behaved in a more civilized manner than the person who asked. Could humanity (some people anyhow) actually be growing? Or is it just that the question came up at an hour when the fundamentalists have all gone to bed? It wouldn't be as entertaining if it were always this way. But it would improve my opinion of the human race.

The kind of person that would allow himself to be crucified is someone that loves you more than you can ever imagine. That same person is willing to accept criticism for his actions and even lets you call him a lame brain knucklehead. He died so that you might be free to choose him or not. And that person would be Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Jesus allowed the forces of evil to crucify him even though he was totally innocent, because no one (not even Satan) had the authority to take the life of an innocent and sinless man, let alone the Son of God.
This brought Satan under God's righteous judgment, where Satan was duly found guilty, and forced to relinquish all that he had gained from Adam's original sin.
Mankind was then free to repent. God was free to forgive. Heaven was open. Jesus Christ became the new and sinless head of all mankind, and all things were made new again.
You are getting too old to be so ignorant, and this is no fairy tale.
WISE UP.

Well, here is one knucklehead that believes it and here is why Jesus (who was NOT a lame brain) did it: It was necessary to save all our sorry asses which were so very lost in sin. Now here is my question: What kind of lame brained knucklehead would mock at and scoff at someone who died in their place to save them from going to hell? Oh, and by the way, Jesus was the only one who could!

Maybe a martyr trying to prove a point. Maybe he knew something that no one else knew or knows? Who knows? But I read in the paper the other day that a man was killed by purposely sitting on a railroad track and committing suicide. His family had no clue he may have been disturbed in any way. Who knows what is really going through anyone else's head?

I'm a christian (roman catholic) and i believe what your saying is insulting...
you called my Lord, a knucklehead...you're insulting!
He died so he can save us from our sins...God made his son to save us! since the world was full of evil, he had to die and RESURRECT so more people will believe in him! He went to heaven with his Father after a few days being resurrected...
The story of God and his son is NOT, i repeat NOT a fairy tale...it's a biblical story, i think you should get a bible and understand all what you've ignorantly asked...
Us catholics are not immature...we believe in what we believe in...you, insulting our religion is just plain wrong...

To become a martyr. Some people believe that nothing is more noble than dying for a cause. Granted most of them in modern times are terrorists. Well, not always. Soldiers overseas are dying for their cause, this country. Firefighters risk their lives for others.

although i agree with you to a point, there is lotsof examples even in modern life where people have made the ultimate decision to give up their life for the sake of others,
you only have to ask your self this question..
who would sit in a plane and crash it into a building knowing they were going to die??
obviously i am refering to the terror networks out there,, but i think it helps with your question.
there is some people out there who will do anything to further their beliefs, right or wrong..
in my experience most of them come from the very religious brain washed side of the world(middle east) and if you think about it i am sure this is where jesus came from,,
maybe he was the old version of todays suicide bombers bearing in mind they never had planes then!!!
thanks for the question
