Hello!!
You can download the JRE from http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Click on Download button for "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 8"
Accept the license and under "Windows Platform - J2SE(TM) Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 8 ", Select "Windows Online Installation (typical download size is ~7.1MB), Multi-language ".
You would get a pop up window for File Download, you can either save it or run from the location.
