like where the dogs have to be adopted in so many days or they kill them?? [which is terrible] is it free? is there a payment? do you know how much? thankss.

No, there are almost always fees involved if you adopt an animal from any shelter. Although would be a good place to check bulletin boards for notices of people needing to find their pets a new home for free.

Most shelters charge $40 -$60 to adopt a dog. However, occasionally some dogs can be adopted for less. Visit your local shelter and see what they have availble.. You will likely meet your new best friend!!

I don't think it's free because when we got our dog from our local shelter, it cost about $25.00. I believe that covers the nuetering/spaying fees.

i think there's usually a fee.

i've gotten a couple of my pups from rescue organizations and there was always a fee with them.

but if you can afford it---its a terriffic way to get a new pet!
