The worst thing that was said to me in a relationship, was
that I was a loser and that I was ugly. It scarred me emotionally.

I once asked my now husband to our senior prom and he said "IF I DONT' FIND SOMEONE ELSE!". Yes, I married this man but I have since wrapped him around my little finger! We are going on 10 years of marriage and in his defense, we were not a couple when I asked him to the prom, and it has obviously not scarred me emotionally but I love to bring it up because he feels so bad! lol

"Mother's Day do not apply to you because your not a mother" but I can be mother to his children. On Father's day, he was expecting something. I told him that he was not my father and we did not have children therefore he should not get anything from me. Yeah, he was a bit upset but he got over it. The next year, I got something for mother's day and every holiday that came around. It did not scar me emotionally because I know that I am a good person.

Good question, I was married for 25 years (usually happily) and I overheard my partner loudly (meant for me to hear) telling her friend that she thought I was checking her phone calls because I no longer trusted her. I thought we had the best marriage but the comment shattered me, I remember thinking oops Ive not been paying attention here something is big time wrong.

Well... the worst thing my ex ever told me is that he is disgusted with me... like he can't take me anymore... and then he slapped me!
Yes, it did scar me.. that's why even if i had suitors I can't feel anything.. I have become numb... even if I really likes this one suitor of mine I can't say yes.. I am much too hurt and much too afraid to get hurt again

"Yes. I f***ed the Irish guy I met at the bar." Did it scar me? No. But I *did* just receive my finalized divorce from the woman today, and I am a happy s.o.b.

I was with a girl once who was still not over her ex, who was a big built footballer. i'm a skinny guy, and she seemed to like telling me how her friends wished she was still with the footballer instead of me.
that made me feel pretty bad, to say the least...
i later learned that she wasn't worth it and i have a far better girlfriend now who would never want to hurt me.
