Are you joking? Silva is a legit 205 guy who is by a majority of experts ranked #1 in the world(over Chuck Liddell) in his weight class. He has ran through some great fighters like Sakuraba(3 times) and Rampage Jackson(twice). He has fought, and held his own in controversial decisions against true heavyweights like Mirko Crocop and Mark Hunt. He fights in Pride FC, where there aren't many easy fights, unlike the UFC.

Matt Hughes is the best 170 guy I've ever seen. But he's a 170 guy. His best attribute, which is his strength over others in his weight class is negated because Silva is as strong or stronger than him. Hughes is great, but he's been beaten by a guy who stepped up from 155(BJ Penn). Silva has NEVER been submitted. I don't see Matt Hughes being the first. Hughes' awesome wrestling skills wouldn't be enough to offset Silva's strength and striking. He has shown he can get out of submissions and has as much stamina, if not more than Hughes. A better matchup would have been the one everyone wants to see - Rich Franklin Vs. Dan Henderson. Or Henderson Vs. Hughes, Franklin Vs. Silva. Stepping up two weight classes is too much in my opinion.

Wanderlei. Matt's good, but he's not that good. Unless you're talking about a best looking man contest. Then Matt would win. That's one thing Wanderlei doesn't have in common with some of the other great Brazilian fighters (Vitor Belfort, Ricardo Arona).

This would be an awesome match up that I have been wanting to see for a while. I think it would be a close fight, Wand could go down in weight and hughes up a little. I'd pay to see it and I think I'd bet on Wanderlei...

Silva would win, because stepping up two weightclasses can take a lot out of a fighter. If they both fought at their natural waeight, I give the advantage to Hughes.

Anderson with the help of determination. Vitor is without delay and has capacity and that's approximately it. He won't be able to experience Anderson's incredible in the different dept. i think Anderson will choose to circumvent that capacity when you have tagged with the help of Sonnen and so will play the long game with the help of making use of a great number of circulation and %. Vitor aside over the 5 rounds. you may desire to keep in mind, in case you cost in at Silva like a raging bull (Leben, Irvin & Griffin) you will get KTFO! in case you stand and play the waiting game like attempting to get Anderson to commit first like Cote did (who has heavy palms besides), then Anderson will in basic terms take a seat lower back and %. his pictures.

a very good match...both are well rounded with skills in all aspects of mma, but silva will be fighting liddell. I hope chuck wins but realistically silva will probably beat him silly
