yes he deserves it, f.cking arlowsky was to big of a p.ussy to go in for the kill on thier last fight, I think he is a better fighter but silvia is a bigger man giving he a clear advantage, but Fedor would rule silvia like the inquisition did the christians. On top of all that in 2004 he was suspended from the UFC because he tested posative for steroids, he is a BIG motherf.cker and if he needs steroids to get an edge he obviously doesnt have the skill to maintain his belt

Yes, he deserves the title. He's not the most technical looking, but he's proved himself. He better be lucky that he doesn't fight for Pride, a lot of their HW's are better. Fedor would hurt him bad. Since Sylvia fights in the UFC, I would like to see Cheik Kongo get a few more fights and go up against him. Kongo's built like a tree and has some decent moves. Frank Meir could also go up against him, but it'll be long while. Frank needs to work with his new leg limitations and learn how to fight with it. Plus Frank needs to gain some serious mental confidence before he'll be ready.

Silvia is the current champ but I would like to see him fight Jeff Monson already. Monson's only 5'9" and Silvia obviously is 6'8" so reach and possibly power advantage goes to Silvia. Tim could probably pull out a draw at best because of his size and reach advantage over Fedor Emelianenko, Pride's HW champion, who has more game than Silvia does.

I would like to see Fedor fight him, but I don't think he would get into the ring with Fedor. Does he deserve the belt? For the time being, yes. He deserves it until someone beats him.
