okay here is my problem i am attracted to a girl in my college english class and i was wanting to know how should i begin a conversation with her because i am new at this college and even if i can't make a girlfriend maybe i can make a new friend.

Its easy to become someones friend if you have confidence. Just say hey, talk to her about an assignment, ask her if she gets it... or something silly like that. Then make conversation about what she's doing this weekend... tell her your new and looking for some fun things to do around town and ask if she knows some places to go, hopefully she'll invit you with her, or she may just tell you and end the convo... but at least u talked to her and can now be friends :) Confidence gets girls

Just go outside while she is on a cigarette break and start talking with her. I'm a smoker and most of the guys I date are non-smokers so I speak from experience. Smokers do not get approached by the opposite sex very often so she may be flattered. You could pretend to go out for some fresh air and when she is alone, strike up a conversation.

Being new at the college gives you plenty of great reasons to start a conversation. Even something like, "hi. I am new here and don't know many people, so I was wondering if you;d like to... (study for test), (have lunch), (go out to...)... with me. "
Getting the conversation started is the important thing. Go for it!

If you share a class...this makes it even the more easier to approach her. Ask her for help in something to do with the class. Even if you don't need it. This gets you two together. It's a start.

If u see her outside of class,in class or after class go over to her and say something bout what the teacher was teaching and ask her if she understands it and does she know what she doin,if she does then ask her to help u even if u already know it

Since it is English class, you may want to consider not using sentences which are 52 words long.

Very simple well not really but i am sure u can do it. First make small talk like throw out a hey im ________ (your name here) and she will generally say hers then you can pick anything you want to talk about like... or you can ask a different question like o i got it accidnetly bump into her int eh hall or. then say hey arnt u in my english calss. then u can intro duce ur self. then whe will probably say sumthing like nice meeting you or i gotta go cya around.

Tell her your new and that you got tickets to go to ( whatever~ a new movie, concert, etc. ) and ask her if, she would like to go with you ! It worked for me many times !
