A member because dues paid up and haven't bothered to go and tell them. I not involved in organization tho. Just on books as one see.

the current knights templar (there are various organisations claiming the title) have no connexion to the original templars. that being said, they probably wouldn't like a muslim among them, after naming themselves after a group whose purpose was to fight against islam. OTOH, it could just be a boys' club, not unlike many freemasonry lodges, and they won't care.
