I'm 40 and married to a twenty-something (for six years now). I was separated from my first wife when we met on the net. I think it's really hard having an 11+ year difference, but love is blind, and not really logical at times.

So yeah it happens. Meeting people via mail, emailing, or internet chat tends to cause some odd matches -- because you're talking heart-to-heart and not hung up on looks from the first second you meet someone. I'd say any 20-something that met me in person now at 40 (if I was single) would probably not be interested. I have a 'young soul' but the shell is still 40 whether I like it or not.

MONEY! Old fools are delusional! They look in the mirror and think they see what was there 20 years ago! Sadly, that is what young women see in older men! I don't agree that this is right, but it's just a fact of life!

i was 19 and met a guy. I was in to him. he was cute, then i found out he was 40! He was older than my dad. I couldn't talk to him any more. I felt uncomfortable.

Heh, my mom did! She was 26 and my dad was 42 when I was born. And I've always been attracted to older men too, so has my sister. Must be genetic.
