I need two phones on a family plan. What compeny sould i go with and why?

verizon or t-mobile
cingular sucks. they may have the "fewest dropped calls.." but they have the worst reception!!!!!! !!!!!

Cingular SUX!!
Cingular's big claim to fame is they have the fewest dropped calls... and, it IS true. The REASON however is because they have the least coverage of any cell phone I know. If you don't pick up a call in the first place, well then, I guess you can't drop it either!
I don't know much about T-Mobile. Verizon seems to have fairly wide spread coverage. The best, and by far the most expensive, coverage I have found is through TracFone. If ANY cell phone gets a signal, TracFone will also get a signal.Conversely, if TracFone does not get a signal, don't expect any other phone, save a satellite phone, to work either.

Cingular because it has the fastest growing network and i believe has been around the longest.
I had Cingular and now I have T-mobile. I liked Cingular more and am planning on switching back.
Verizon is a different zone for me. I've heard they're pretty expensive though. Never used them though.

I've had both T-Mobile and Cingular. Neither one's reception has bothered me (especially compared to Sprint). However, Cingular has more hidden fees. I would go Verizon if you're on a family plan. The only reason why I'm not on it is because their individual plans are pricey

Cingular, all the way. Do no get Verizon or T-Mobile, my family has tried them both and they suck, so stick with Cingular.

Cingular's family plan is great! that's the one I've had for a long time now and I love their customer service... also, great offers!!!

whatever company you go with, dont get the motorola V3 razor. reception sucks. my wife has verizon also and on the interstate and away from big cities she gets reception and I don't.
