Well, the anti-Christ is going to force one on everybody, and if people don't worship him, they will die.
"The second beast was allowed to give breath to the image of the first beast so that the image of the beast could talk and put to death those who would not worship the image of the beast." (Revelation 13:15)
Later, after he's gone, the true King of the Universe, Jesus Christ, will rule and reign, and everyone will willingly worship Him. (Revelation 22:3)

One religion would never last long. Take Christianity for example. First there was the version taught by James, then Paul came along and started his own version and persecuted the followers of the original version. Then the Greeks and Russians started their own versions. The protestant reformation gave rise to god knows how many more versions. This should be sufficient evidence for you to realize that all religions are man-made and are purely political in their agendas. They are all based on myths, legends and superstitious nonsense and rely on gullible fools like you lot out there to keep the B/S alive!.

If the world only had one or no religion we would have nothing left to fight over but oil and that will run out soon. win/win.

No. Religion is made by men (i.e. humans but usually men if you're honest) to fit beliefs espouced by culture and history.
I'm thinking the world would be great with spirituality instead of the "us vs. them" thinking which is totally against any loving god I'd want to associate with.

It might be, but it can't happen unless Christ does return. You just can't force everyone to believe the same thing.

Yes, we could all worship the Grand Poo Bah and do the Happy New Week ice cream communion before the sacrament of sex.

I suspect it would be even greater with no religion. Imagine that.
