I'm not looking for opinions on whether this Gospel is valid or not, I just want to know what you consider to be the best translation and why.

Probably Coptic. That way no one outside Egypt or various academics could read it.

Okay, seriously, if you really want a decent translation to read, there's several here that you can choose from that are not too bad.

What does it matter if the translation is better than another? Is a white lie different than any other lie? God told us not to add to his Word. The 'gospel' of Thomas is definitely an addition!!

I like the translation from the Lord Jesus Christ.....
"And Jesus answered and said to them: 'Take heed that no one deceives you'"
