would it tecknicly help me live longer?

Higher oxygenation means better oxygen perfusion to the tissues. Better perfusion means better function. Better function means less "wear and tear" on the body, so I suppose it could, but it would probably be an insignificantly small difference.

On the contrary. Higher oxygenated air (that's what it is) will increase your metabolism and effectively shorten your life (theoretically minute difference). Unless there is a medical reason, than it will safe your life and extend it.

This reminds me of a question of my aunt to her doctor...she was finally confessing to him that she smoked..and she said "do you think smoking will shorten my life span?" Her doctor smiled and said..."by about 10 minutes maybe". She was 96.
