There are a few guidlines for a first date. I mean, I'm no Casanova but there are a few universal rules. Some of which have been mentioned in past answers.
First of all, be polite to her, and her family when and if you get to meet them. Second of all, have good table manners and listen tiwce as you talk. Try to get to know her. Also, be a gentleman, let her in before you, and always get the door for her. Whether its the car door or the door at the restaurant. Never walk in front of her, you don't want her to think you feel superior, always walk side by side and as I mentioned, she goes in and out of every place first. When ordering the food, never order for her, and let her order first. Here's the tip... whent he waiter comes in and says "May I take your order" say "Sure" then look at her and say "Ladies first" or something like that.
This isn't a universal rule, and it might not be the best idea. But depending on how the date goes, walk her to her door... but expect nothing (kisses, etc.) because if you do, most likely you'l get disappointed or do something stupid that will make her conceive an ill image of you. But I believe that most important thing to do is stay calm, be relaxed and that way you'll be able to be yourself, and enjoy the date instead of trying to impress her. The more relaxed you are, the more communication flow there is and the better things go.
